VR for Spatial Computational Thinking

Patrick Janssen, School of Design and Environment

Overview

This project aims to develop Technology Enhanced eLearning contents for the ME4262 module, which can be easily accessed by students from anywhere using portable devices such as laptops, iPads, iPhones, or Android phones. This will allow students to view the materials at their own pace and on the move, freeing up more time for face-to-face discussion of problems and case studies with staff. QR codes will be used to provide quick access to module animations, and break-up sessions will be conducted with up to 50 students, grouped into 5-6 students using a smart classroom, to discuss case studies related to automation investment justifications.
